Camp Bowen was founded in 1963, as an opportunity for residents of British Columbia, Canada, living with a visual impairment or blindness, to come together to share experiences, learn and expand their horizons.

The Camp Bowen Society for the Visually Impaired was established as an independent organization in 2010 to continue the summer camp program on Bowen Island. Thanks to numerous hard working volunteers and the contributions of donors like you, camps are being held on Bowen to this day. To find out how you can be part of the Camp Bowen story, please visit:
